A 19-year-old Briton dies and a passenger is injured after flipping a quad ‘at low speed’ and being crushed under it in Greece

A 19-year-old Briton has died in Greece after crashing a quad, flipping the vehicle over and crushing underneath.
The tragedy occurred in the village of Mesos Gerakari, on the island of Zakynthos, in the early hours of Friday.
The ATV reportedly suddenly veered off course, causing fatal injuries to the teen.
Another 19-year-old passenger was involved in the accident but suffered only minor bruises.
Both were wearing helmets, ERT Zakynthos reported, and were said to be moving at a slow speed.

The unnamed driver is then said to have made sudden irregular movements, causing the crash, flipping the vehicle over and being crushed underneath.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and the teenager was taken to Zakynthos hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the events leading up to the death.
The man’s body will also undergo an autopsy and a toxicology screen.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in Greece and are in contact with local authorities.”
