A BA passenger is STABBED during a flight from Gatwick to St Lucia, leaving the cabin splattered with blood in front of terrified travelers.

An airline passenger smashed a glass bottle and stabbed another passenger in a frenzied attack aboard a British Airways flight to the Caribbean on Monday.
Shocking footage shows the moment flight BA2159 from Gatwick to St. Lucia descended into chaos when a fight broke out between several passengers around an hour and 20 minutes after landing.
The pilots had no choice but to continue to the island’s Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort as the brutal fight continued in the cockpit.
According to the St Lucia Times, the fight broke out when a passenger, who had been arguing with another man on the flight, blew up and stormed into the kitchen area of the Boeing 777 plane.
The assailant, a St. Lucian man wearing a bucket hat and glasses, is said to have smashed a glass bottle in the kitchen, spraying shards throughout the food preparation area, before returning down the walkway and sinking the edges. Irregular bottle on his enemy, whose nationality remains unknown.
The heroic passengers and staff then dove in to separate the pair, but not before the unarmed passenger suffered a considerable cut that sent blood spattering the cabin.
A peacemaker, also from Saint Lucia, suffered an additional injury that required the immediate attention of a nurse on the flight.

Nichola Pierre, who was on the flight, said: “I was on board this flight and these guys were drinking and joking with each other before this happened.”
“One man was stabbed in the torso and the other in the back of the head before another gentleman and I could calm down this guy who bought a duty-free bottle of wine that he used to commit the act.”
“Fortunately, the escalation of the situation was quickly resolved and normalcy was maintained.”
Another source told The Sun: ‘It was a really scary experience for the crowded passengers. There was a lot of understandable annoyance.
The men argued throughout the flight after takeoff from Gatwick airport.
“The fight turned into shoving and shoving and suddenly things got really ugly.
“It was horrible when the passenger broke the bottle and then used the fragments as a weapon.
‘Suddenly there was blood in the cabin. No one knew how scary it was going to get. It could have been much worse.

The cabin crew was finally able to get everything under control and, with the help of the pilot, alerted officials in St. Lucia before the plane landed.
Police arrested the assailant without incident after the aircraft landed, while those who sustained injuries were rushed to a nearby hospital for further medical attention.
A St. Lucia police spokesman said the matter is currently being investigated.
“We are investigating this with immediate effect. This is a very serious matter that occurred on a plane. This is very serious indeed.’
The identities of the passengers involved have not yet been released.
A British Airways representative said: “We are shocked that anyone would act in this way and are grateful to our highly trained cabin crew and customers who supported them in handling this difficult incident.”
“We want to assure customers that this behavior will never be tolerated and that we will always take appropriate action.”
