Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s Fight & Trial is Being Turned Into a Movie ?? Really ?

The Depp/Heard Trial is a Tubi Original Movie from FOX Entertainment’s indie studio Mar Vista Entertainment based on the controversial defamation trial that shook the world. HOT TAKE: THE DEPP/HEARD TRIAL stars Mark Hapka (“Parallels”) as Johnny Depp, Megan Davis (“Alone in the Dark”) as Amber Heard, Melissa Marty (“Station 19”) as Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez and Mary Carrig (“Law & Order True Crime”) joins as Heard’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft. The film was written by Guy Nicolucci (“The Daily Show”), directed by Sara Lohman (“Secrets in the Woods”), and executive produced by Brittany Clemons, Angie Day, Marianne C. Wunch, Hannah Pillemer, and Fernando Sew. Autumn Federici and Kristi for Cvijetic serve as producers under their Ninth House banner. I can’t decide which part of the actual trial was more popcorn worthy: the part where AH was trying to explain how the photographs she claimed she didn’t photoshop turned out to be absolutely photoshopped, or the part where she was trying to explain how she didn’t stage a TMZ photo op with a painted on bruise while the guy who helped her stage it in TMZ was saying, “yeah, that happened.” Or maybe, it was the part where RP called the cops before they staged the “property damage” caused by JD’s alleged DV rampage, and then after the cops showed up and there was no rampage and there was no bruise on her face… 6 days after JD had already left for London. Then 2 days later, TMZ gets a tip to show up at the courthouse to catch a shot of AH’s face with obvious purple pancake makeup OVER her foundation makeup. Or maybe, it was the photo submitted into evidence by AH showing JD sleeping, and a Halloween “Bruise and Abrasion” makeup kit visible in the edge of the image… almost as though she’d purchased it ahead of time in anticipation of her TMZ courthouse photo.
