BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” Spends 6th Week On Billboard 200 – Elite News

BLACKPINK’s latest album is still going strong on the Billboard charts!

In September, BLACKPINK made history when their second studio album “BORN PINK” debuted at No. #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart (the weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the US) to never top the main US albums chart.

On November 1, Billboard revealed that “BORN PINK” successfully stayed on the Billboard 200 for the sixth week in a row. For the week ending November 5, the album peaked at number 100.

Outside of the Billboard 200, “BORN PINK” also held strong at No. 23 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 27 on this week’s Top Album Sales chart.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s pre-release single “Pink Venom” spent its ninth week in the top 10 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8, followed by the group’s latest title track, “Shut Down” at #15 (in its sixth week).

Both songs also remained on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. US chart this week: “Close” placed at no. 31st in Global Excl. US chart and No. 40 on the Global 200, while “Pink Venom” followed at No. 35 on the Global Excl. US chart and number 53 in the Global 200.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
