
Mother After protests against Tom Cruise’s Undead film, star Brendan Fraser is set to return to the Undead franchise in the future.
talking to DiversityOf the The Whale actor eager to reprise his role in the Undead franchise, “I don’t know how that’s going to work,” he admits. “But if someone comes up with the right conceit, I’ll be up for it.”
In addition, the original Mother The star opened up about Universal’s darker take on the film, “It’s hard to make that movie,” admitted the actor.
“The material we were carrying for our mummy, which I didn’t see in that movie, was fun. That’s what was lacking in that avatar. It was a straight-up horror film. ‘The Mummy’ needs a thriller. Be a ride, but not terrifying and scary.”
“I know how difficult it is to pull off,” Fraser says. “I tried to do it three times.”

Too, Mother Filmmaker Stephen Sommers cited the reason Fraser was cast because he had a special set of skills.
“He could throw a punch and take a punch, and he had a great sense of humor,” he says. “You really like that guy. He never comes across as cocky or arrogant.”
