Dwayne Johnson Fights The JSA In Black Adam Trailer

The first trailer for Black Adam, the next DCEU film that will debut the titular antihero, stars Dwayne Johnson. Black Adam has long been a passion project for the wrestler-turned-actor, and he has been quite open about the film’s development process.Johnson will co-star with Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan as the Justice Society of America. They will portray the characters Atom Smasher, Hawkman, Cyclone, and Doctor Fate, in that order. Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, and Mo Amer will also appear in the film.Black Adam will serve as a type of genesis narrative for Johnson’s character, exploring his origins while also reintroducing him 5,000 years later after he was released from jail. It’s unknown how this will interact with the Justice Society of America, but it’s plausible that Black Adam may clash with the new heroes. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Adam’s release date has been pushed back multiple times, most recently to October 2022. Nonetheless, excitement for the picture has remained strong, especially after the first Black Adam footage was teased at the DC FanDome.Warner Bros. has already published the first official trailer for Black Adam. Johnson’s anti-hero is introduced in the video, which delves into his history and subsequent release from jail. Following that, the various members of the Justice Society of America are presented, with Atom Smasher, Dr. Fate, and Hawkman demonstrating their abilities. The Black Adam teaser also hints a clash between the JSA and Black Adam, although it is unclear how or why. Watch the video below:The Black Adam teaser appears to be unlike anything else seen in the DCEU so far. Johnson’s anti-hero will undoubtedly face up against both the JSA and some form of government force, although why is unknown at this time. Johnson’s Black Adam is unafraid to murder, which puts him at odds with the heroes, although it’s unclear who he’s killing. Despite its brief duration, the Black Adam teaser appears to conceal a great deal.Sabbac, the Black Adam adversary originally unveiled by Funko POPs, is not visible in the trailer. The JSA and Black Adam will probably have to work together against this larger danger at some point in the film, but Warner Bros. is saving this reveal for the film or a second trailer that will undoubtedly emerge before Black Adam’s October release date. Regardless, the Black Adam teaser offers an exciting peek at the next DC film, which promises an entirely new set of heroes (and one anti-hero) who, according to Johnson, would shift “the structure of power in the DC Universe.”
