Gisele Bündchen reportedly bought an $11.5 million mansion directly across the waterway from Tom Brady’s home weeks before the couple finalized their divorce.
Bündchen closed on the five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot Miami Beach mansion on October 6, Page Six reported.
The mansion appears to be almost directly across the waterway from her now ex-husband Brady’s Tampa Bay home, which is under construction on Indian Creek Island.
Bündchen first viewed the mansion on August 16, just days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback took an 11-day break from playing in the NFL, a source told Page Six. The break was a last attempt to save the relationship, it was reported.
But on October 28, the couple finalized their divorce, ending the 13-year marriage.

The property listing boasts soaring 25-foot ceilings, a large outdoor pool, a home theater, gym, several terraces and views of the waterway and Indian Creek Island
‘Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his break from the NFL, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on,’ the source revealed.
Bündchen’s reported new digs are in Surfside while Brady’s mansion is on the waterfront of Biscayne Bay.
‘You could literally swim from Gisele’s place to Tom’s — not that they would — but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other,’ the source added.

The two had aimed to build a forever home in Miami’s Indian Creek Country Club community for themselves and their children.
The total cost of the house is set to be near $30 million, as they paid $17 million for the land and an additional $10.12 million in construction costs for the custom mansion, according to the Post.
The area is dubbed ‘Billionaire’s Bunker’ because of the sheer number of celebrities and high-rollers in the vicinity, including Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
But the mansion seems to be tailor-made for the two, and includes an organic garden, a pickleball court, yoga terrace, a prep kitchen, main kitchen and outdoor kitchen.
The 1.8-acre property encompasses three buildings – a main house, a security post and a gym. It also ironically includes his-and-hers bathroom suites, which may never get to be used by both.
Floor plans of the home obtained by the Post shows that it spans an enormous 17,000 square feet, and includes five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, along with an elevator, a movie theatre and a guest suite.

The island community of Indian Creek Island in Miami Beach, Florida is home to billionaires, celebrities, and professional athletes, earning it the nickname Billionaire Bunker
But after TMZ reported the relationship has been on the rocks for a while, and then their divorce was finalized in October, it’s unclear if Brady will take ownership of the property or if it will be sold off altogether.
Meanwhile, newly-single Bündchen appears to be moving on with her own properties.
The most recent reported purchase comes months after the supermodel’s had quietly snapped up a $1.25 million, three-bedroom property in February, two weeks before her Brady made the shock U-turn announcement he was coming out of retirement to return to the NFL.
The purchase was subsequently approved on June 10, with the former Victoria Secret model’s name reportedly the only one on the deed.
That home is located just a 15 minute walk from Indian Creek Island, where they had shared a $17 million mansion that had been undergoing extensive renovations.

At just 1,890 square feet, the home was comparatively tiny when placed alongside the enormous properties that Brady and Bündchen snapped up together over the course of their marriage, which hit the rocks earlier this year ahead of the 45-year-old NFL star’s rumored final season in the league.
Together, the former couple own numerous properties across the country – including a $3.6 million apartment in New York City, a $17 million mansion located on Miami’s Indian Creek Island, a lavish estate in Yellowstone, Montana, that’s reportedly worth $5.7 million, and a stunning home in Costa Rica.
Brady and Bündchen have two children together – a son Benjamin and a daughter, Vivian. Brady also has a 15-year-old son, Jack Moynahan, from a previous relationship with actor Bridget Moynahan.
The pair posted statements on Instagram about the divorce, each saying they had ‘amicably’ reached the decision.
‘The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always,’ Bündchen wrote.
Both said their priorities lay with their children and asked for privacy.
In their divorce announcements, they made clear their plans to continue co-parenting
Tom and Gisele confirmed their divorce in Instagram statements on Friday. She said her priority had ‘always been’ the children, but said the pair had ‘grown apart’. In his statement, Brady said the decision was ‘painful and difficult’
The couple are expected to share custody of their two children, Vivian and Benjamin. Tom also has a third son John, 15, from his relationship with Bridget Moynahan. They are shown in February 2022, after he announced he was retiring – but he changed his mind a month later
‘We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration,’ Brady wrote. ‘Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world.’
The divorce landed in the midst of Brady’s 23rd NFL season, and amid his first three-game losing streak in 20 years, just months after the seven-time Super Bowl champion put an end to his short-lived retirement.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback — who had long stated a desire to spend more time with Bündchen and his three children — announced his departure from the game in February, only to change his mind 40 days later.
‘What more do you have to prove?’ Bündchen told her husband on the sidelines after his last, record-shattering Super Bowl victory, as Brady himself recounted shortly after the win.
Despite Brady initially saying his retirement was a chance to focus his ‘time and energy on other things that require my attention,’ part of his motivation to come back was what he has referred to as ‘unfinished business’ with the Buccaneers. The team failed to reach the Super Bowl last season in their effort to repeat as champions.
