Meri Brown: I love my life! Really! Really!

Meri Brown lives a strange kind of double life.

In one life, the life she documents on social media, she’s super happy, travels all the time, has good friends, and is excited to be alive.

But in the afterlife, the one we see in Sister Wives… well, it’s more or less the opposite.

We see her getting upset quite often on the show about various things, and if she’s not upset, she’s trying to be nonchalant about the fact that Kody clearly wants nothing to do with her.

For example, she admitted that they haven’t slept together in over a decade, and he made it very clear that he’s no longer in love with her and can’t imagine that changing.

Still, they stick together because… um…

Mary Brown is angry

Well, Meri says she prays about it and God tells her to hang in there, so it looks like she’s going to hang out until God tells her something different.

But just a few days ago, Kody’s first wife made another attempt to convince us that, despite everything, she is really content with her life.

Bless your heart.

“Do not worry about me!” started her message. “Right here enjoying my life!”

“I work hard and I play hard,” he continued. “I live life happily and to the fullest. I celebrate my victories, I encourage my people. I don’t let things get me down, at least not for long. (We all need to take a breath once in a while hahaha!)”

To his followers, he wrote: “Listen folks, you are worth DOING what you want, GET what you want, LIVE how you want.”

“Don’t you feel like you can right now? It’s okay! Get up every day with the passion to work for it! Life is not always easy, we have to work for the things we want. It is not delivered on a silver platter.

“But how cool is that?!” she asked. “It just means YOU are in control of the outcome!”

“Now go out there and do something great,” he finished, “because YOU are worth it!”

That’s good, right?

Unfortunately, judging by the kind of comments left by its followers, not many people are buying it.

“Are you really happy?” one person asked. Or simply settle for not having love. You never seem happy to me.

Another person wrote: “True self-love is shown by good self-care, good situations, and rewarding relationships, not IG posts. Just say.”

A harsher comment read: “Listen, third wheel. You have been in a divided ‘family’ and non-toxic marriage for decades. Christine is living your words, not you.”

Man, that’s got to hurt, huh?

Meri hasn’t been very supportive of Christine’s decision to leave Kody, but it’s more than clear that Christine is really happy now.

And no, we really can’t say the same for Meri.

As one person put it: “Christine deserved your support as a woman, not the pressure and condemnation to stay with a man who didn’t love her. I hope you move on too so you don’t need this endless rhetoric.”

Someone summed up the whole thing pretty well with this brief comment: “Meri, live the truth you are preaching.”
