A New York father was left in a coma with “life-changing” injuries after teens brutally attacked him in Ireland.
Stephen Termini, 57, was on a “dream holiday” in Dublin when he was kicked and punched by a group of youths in gruesome scenes captured from afar on security footage.
The father-of-two could lose an eye and be disabled for life after the attack, which happened around 10:40 p.m. on Talbot Street on Wednesday, police said.
He remains in a “critical condition” in a coma at Beaumont Hospital in the north of the Irish capital, according to his family fundraiser.
Meanwhile, a 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the assault, the Irish Independent said.

Termini, a frequent visitor from Ireland, where his family is from, had just left the guest house where he was staying when teenagers pounced on him.
Security footage shows him walking down the street, when he appears to be engaging in a conversation with one of the teenagers.
Some of the figures appear to kick and punch him, and the group disappears around the corner.
Several teenagers flee the scene, while some escape on bicycles.
Soon after, an ambulance shows up and Termini, who is believed to have received multiple kicks to the head, is taken to the intensive care unit.
On Sunday, gardai investigators said a 14-year-old boy had been arrested for an alleged offense contrary to the Non-Fatal Offenses Against the Person Act 1997.
He is being held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a north Dublin police station and is due to appear in court on Thursday.
Termini’s son, Mike Rizzuto, described the attack as “unprovoked” at a fundraiser aimed at raising money for the family to fly to Ireland to visit his father in hospital.
“The brutal attack has left my father in a coma after sustaining multiple injuries,” Rizzuto said.
“He is currently in critical condition with what I have been told are life-altering injuries.
“I am receiving news of this situation through the media along with everyone else.”
Rizzuto said his father is passionate about music, something his children have inherited, and has been “a great support” in their lives.
“Although we may not have been the closest over the years, he is still my father and the reason I’m here today,” Rizzuto said.
“I ask that you send healing vibrations to my father as my family and I try to learn more facts about the situation.”

The attack happened just meters from Ireland’s busiest police station on Store Street.

Termini’s sister, Michelle, said she had “dreamed” of visiting Ireland, where her ancestors are from, to trace her family’s heritage.

Security footage captured the gruesome moment Termini was kicked and beaten by a group of youths in Talbot Street at around 10:40pm on Wednesday.
His family fundraiser has so far received more than $95,000 in donations, for which Rizzuto said he is “so grateful.”
“I’m still in disbelief,” he told the Irish Independent.
‘My brother and I are going to apply for our passports first thing Monday morning, and it looks like we’ll be there as soon as possible.
‘I have no words, I am very grateful. I can’t put it into words, there are so many nice people out there looking after us.’
The attack took place just meters from Store Street Garda station, Ireland’s busiest police headquarters, and Rizzuto said he has faith the police will catch those responsible.
However, he added that since his father’s attack he has noticed many more in the area, and he wants the government to take crime “more seriously.”
“I’ve seen people post on GoFundMe,” he said.
“I hope they are getting the same help that we are through this.
“I hope they (the government) start to take it a little more seriously and justice is done for everyone who has been hurt and hurt.”

Termini’s sister, Michelle, said she had been working hard and “saving every penny to pay for the trip” to Ireland, where she had “always dreamed of visiting.”
He promised to make the trip after his wife died last April, she said.
“I was trying to trace our family who immigrated to the United States from Dublin,” Termini’s sister wrote at the fundraiser.
