The man moved carefully along the narrow ledge, risking an almost certain fatal fall onto the paved courtyard below with only a loss of footing.
The scene was captured by 19-year-old Charlie Brooke Walsh, a dental nurse who felt compelled to share the shocking footage to discourage people from attempting similar stunts.
“I want to raise awareness for people who fall off balconies on holiday after taking substances or drinking,” Charlie told MailOnline.
A big fall onto the paved patio below meant that one wrong move, a momentary loss of balance, would have resulted in tragedy.

‘I saw someone on top of a ledge in a hotel, thinking they had no hope of making it across, but luckily they did!
“Something needs to be put in place, as it happens to many young people who lose their lives for foolish decisions without sufficient security measures.”
The video clip shows the unidentified man’s daring and dangerous journey across the ledge, swinging unfazed through the air despite the chasm yawning below him just inches away.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks people take when under the influence or making impulsive decisions, and the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, known for its vibrant atmosphere and lively party scene, is now facing questions about the safety of its facilities.
Charlie added: “Security found him about 15 minutes after he was there and they took him out, but the next day he showed up and they found him at the ocean beach club like nothing happened.”
“If he had fallen, it would have caused mental health problems for other people…people don’t understand how much their actions can affect another person.”
Against all odds, the brave Brit made it to the other side, eventually escaping what would undoubtedly have been a fatal fall.

The 35-year-old man died at the scene in the early hours of this morning. The alarm was raised just after 3:15 am, but the emergency services that responded to the scene said that the man was already dead when they arrived.
Local authorities are investigating, and police sources said the man had been on a second-floor balcony when he fell over the edge.
Less than weeks earlier, 22-year-old British tourist and amateur footballer John McKenna died at the same resort after taking a plunge from a three-star hotel.
