The 33-year-old was delighted to visit the facility, which he described as a “sobering experience”.
“Being able to see first-hand what Save the Children is doing in the community was an important experience. No matter what background they come from, all children have the same needs and it is important that they have the same opportunities.
“The early years of a child’s development are the most important for their future life and this support can make a difference. Seeing the impact these projects are having in real life is humbling and I’m glad we can raise funds to help Save the Children run more activities like this around the world.”
